Babar Azam made a new history in PSL

In the match of Karachi Kings against Quetta Gladiators in Abu Dhabi, Babar Azam was dismissed for 23 runs which brought the number of runs of Babar Azam in PSL 6 to 501.

He is the first player to score 500 runs in any one edition of Pakistan Super League.

Even before this, Babar Azam had the distinction of scoring the most runs in a single edition of the PSL, which he had achieved by scoring 473 runs last season. Babar Azam’s average for the current season is 71.57.

During this innings, Babar Azam also completed 2,000 runs in his PSL career. Babar Azam is the first batsman to score a total of 2,000 runs in the Pakistan Super League. The total runs in his PSL career have been 2017.

Kamran Akmal is the second-highest run-scorer in the PSL after Babar Azam. He has scored 1763 runs in the tournament so far.
