In the 28th match of Akstan Super League 6, Multan Sultans defeated Lahore Qalandars by 80 runs after a one-sided contest.

In pursuit of the 170-run target set by Multan Sultans, the entire Lahore Qalandars team piled up 89 runs.
James Faulkner was the top scorer for Qalandars with 22 runs. Fakhr Zaman scored 13 and Mohammad Hafeez 14 runs.
Fakhr Zaman and Ben Dunk started the innings for Lahore but both the openers failed.

Khar Zaman scored 13 runs and fell victim to young fast bowler Shahnawaz Dhani. Ben Dunk was dismissed by Imran Khan. He could make only five zins.
Mohammad Hafeez also stayed on the crease for a short period and he returned to the pavilion after scoring only 14 runs.
Sohail Akhtar 5, Tim David 10, Rashid Khan 2, and Shaheen Shah Afridi returned to the pavilion with 2 runs.

Shahnawaz Dhani got four wickets

From Multan Sultans, Shahnawaz Dhani got four wickets and Imran Khan got three wickets.
Earlier, Multan Sultans scored 169 runs in the allotted 20 overs while playing first.
Sohaib Maqsood was the top scorer for Multan. He scored 60 runs. Riley Russo 29 while Sohail Tanveer scored an unbeaten 26 runs.
For Lahore Qalandars, Shaheen Shah Afridi took three wickets while James Faulkner took two wickets. Ahmed Daniel, Rashid Khan, and Haris Rauf took one wicket each.
Earlier, Lahore Qalandars captain Sohail Akhtar won the toss and invited Multan Sultans to bat.
Mohammad Rizwan and Shaun Maqsood started the innings for Multan Sultans. Shaun Maqsood fell victim to Shaheen Shah Afridi without scoring a run.
Muhammad Rizwan scored 15 runs and was caught by Haris Rauf. Johnson Charles was lbw out by Rashid Khan for an individual score of 10 runs.

Sohaib Maqsood’s fifty

Sohaib Maqsood scored 60 runs and fell victim to Shaheen Shah Afridi. Riley Russo was dismissed by Ahmed Daniel.
Imran Tahir shows the way to the pavilion to James Faulkner.
In the points table, Lahore Qalandars are third and Multan Sultans are fourth.
