National Security meeting on Afghanistan, briefing of military officials

A meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on National Security is underway at Parliament House, Islamabad. The meeting is being chaired by the chairman of the committee, Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser.
According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Information on Thursday, the meeting was attended by DG ISI to brief the country’s political and parliamentary leadership, leaders, and members on key foreign affairs, internal security, internal challenges, and changes taking place in the region. Extraordinary security arrangements
